Federal Building, Edmonton
Federal Building, Edmonton is a building built by the federal government and now owned by the Government of Alberta which is undergoing re-development.
History
Although built in 1955, the building features Art Deco style from the 1930s,[1] the building was left vacant since 1989 and now being renovated for Alberta Infrastructure for use again in 2014.[2] The 10-storey Tyndall stone stone building is located at near the Alberta Legislature Building and will share the new Edmonton Centennial Plaza with another government building nearby, Bowker Building.[3]
