The Federação Portuguesa de Basquetebol (Portuguese Basketball Federation) is the ruling body of basketball in Portugal. It was established on 17 August 1927.[2] It became a member of International Basketball Federation (FIBA) in 1932 as part of the eight founding members.[3]
