Fatma of the Forest (Turkish: Tahtacı Fatma) is a 28-minute color Turkish documentary film directed by Süha Arın. It was first shown in 1979, the International Year of the Child.[1]

The film shows the life of a 12-year-old girl with the woodcutters in the forests of the high Taurus Mountains. It documents child labor and the harsh lives of those logging for the Turkish Ministry of Forestry.[1]
