History

Founded in 1994, Fast Web Media initially focused on website development and produced the first Premier League website. In 1998, the company was bought by Fast Search & Transfer ASA, a major internet infrastructure corporation focusing on Search and Image/Video software. Since 2003 Fast Web Media has been delivering Search Engine Optimisation services to clients including Carling and the Premier League. Current clients also include Bravissimo, Cobra Beer and Coors Light.

Products

In 2012, Fast Web Media launched its cloud-based digital marketing products: FWM and FWM WeatherFIT.[2] They allow companies or search agencies to localise and optimise search campaigns or content using real-time or forecast local weather data; users control which pay-per-click ads are displayed based on the weather. The weatherFIT platform won both the Innovation Award and the Grand Prix at the 2012 European Search Awards.[3] In 2012 it won the Best PPC Management Software award at the UK Search Awards [4] and Best Use of Search Marketing at the 2013 Rev Awards.[5]

In 2013, Fast Web Media launched WhoLooked, a reverse IP lookup tool aimed at B2B businesses which enables users to see which companies visited their website as well as details about the pages they viewed and the duration of their visit.
