Farm to Market Road 2403 (FM 2403) is a farm to market road in Brazoria County, Texas.[1]

Route description

FM 2403 begins at FM 2917 near Liverpool.[2] It travels to the northwest to SH 35 in southern Alvin. The route allows northbound (i.e., Houston-bound) truck traffic from the industrial plants located on FM 2917 to bypass Liverpool.[1]

History

A previous unrelated route of was designated in Wise County. FM 2403 was designated in 1957 from US 81 north of decatur northwest 5.3 miles. In 1960, FM 2403 extended to FM 1810. That mileage was transferred to FM 1810 in 1964 when that route was lengthened.[1][3]

The current designation of FM 2403 was subsequently established in 1964. Its routing has remained unchanged.[1]
