Fantastic Sams is a chain of haircut and beauty salons in the United States and Canada. With over 1,250 locations, it is one of the largest full-service salon chains in the U.S., although each store is a franchise an independent Fantastic Sams was founded in 1974 by Sam Ross in Memphis, Tennessee. Franchising began in 1976, under the title "Incredible Sam's" but was changed in 1981 to "Fantastic Sam's" so that it was easier to say.[1] The company also markets haircare products.[2]
