Family Party: 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade is a family based party game released for the Wii U, and is part of the Simple series of games. It was developed by Art Co., Ltd and published by D3 Publisher. The game was released in November 2012 for the PAL region, and in December 2012 for North America and Japan. Its Japanese title is Simple Series for Wii U Vol.1: The Family Party (SIMPLEシリーズ for Wii U Vol.1 THE ファミリーパーティー). The game is available for both retail and digital download via the Nintendo eShop. The game received heavy criticism due to the broken minigames, bad voice acting and poor controls. It may be considered one of the worst games of all time.

Family Party: 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade was widely panned by critics and gamers alike; holding a critic score of 11/100 on Metacritic, the second-lowest score behind Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing.[2] Game Revolution gave the game a 0 out of 5 for "[boasting] 30 'great' games, yet [delivering] nothing more than confusion and anger instead of competition and fun." The entire game was criticized for being poorly designed (including a target shooting game that required players to aim with the Wii Remote's Nunchuck instead of pointing and shooting), and all of its minigames were considered to be "garbage" and "borderline unplayable".[4] Official Nintendo Magazine gave the game a score of 11%, jokingly concluding the review (written in the style of a diary) with an "ONM Coroner's Report" that read "Patient suffered a psychotic breakdown while playing this game. No treatment possible."[7]
