The Fallen Timbers Battlefield was the site of the Battle of Fallen Timbers on 20 August 1794.

The site was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1960.[2]

This photo is of the Fallen Timbers Battlefield Memorial Site which was originally believed to have been the actual battlefield. It has since been discovered that the battlefield is actually just northeast from the memorial location on the other side of US-24.

In 1975, interpretative information at the site was very limited.[3]
