Falkirk West was a county constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1983 until 2005. Together with a portion of Falkirk East, it was replaced by Falkirk.
Boundaries
When created in 1983, it consisted of the Falkirk District electoral divisions of Callendar, Grahamsdyke, Glenfuir, Carmuirs, Herbertshire, Tryst, Carronglen, and Bonnybridge. In the 1997 redistribution, Bainsford was added to the seat from Falkirk East, but otherwise the constituency remained the same until its abolition in 2005.
