Fakhrud Rural District (Persian: دهستان فخررود) is a rural district (dehestan) in Qohestan District, Darmian County, South Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 5,446, in 1,530 families.[1] The rural district has 21 villages.
