F Is for Family is an animated sitcom television series, slated to debut in 2015 on Netflix.[1] The series was created by stand up comedian Bill Burr and Michael Price (The Simpsons) [2] The first series will be six episodes in length and will be produced by Gaumont International Television, and Vince Vaughn's Wild West Television[2]

Production
The series was announced in October 2014 as part of a partnership between Netflix, Gaumont International Television, and Wild West Television.[5] The show will be a "family comedy" based on the standup of Bill Burr, and will focus particularly on the aspect of complaining about political correctness.[6] Moreover, the show will take place in the 1970s, "a time when you could smack your kid, smoke inside, and bring a gun to the airport".[6] Burr will voice the Murphy family patriarch, with Laura Dern as his presumably long-suffering wife, Justin Long as his eldest son, and Haley Reinhart as his young son.[3][4][6] The first series will consist of six episodes, to be written by Bill Burr and Michael Price.[7] Price is best known for his Emmy and Writers Guild award-winning work on The Simpsons.[7]
