FL Technics is a Lithuanian aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul company based in Vilnius. It is the largest of its kind in the Baltic States and one of the largest in Eastern Europe.[1]
History
The company was established in 2005 in the hangar formerly used by flyLAL-Lithuanian Airlines at Vilnius International Airport[2][3]
FL Technics provides base maintenance services at its headquarters in Vilnius (at Vilnius International Airport), as well as in its new hangar in Kaunas[4] (Kaunas International Airport) and in Jakarta[5] (Soekarno-Hatta International Airport). The company has over 30,000 m2 (320,000 sq ft) of hangar space.[6]
In 2011, the company announced that it would build two hangars in the Port Special Economic Zone at the ‘Ulyanovsk-Vostochny’ airport in the Russian Federation.[7] FL Technics also provides Line Maintenance support through a network of line stations covering a number of countries across Europe, the CIS and the Asian-Pacific region.
In 2014 FL Technics' unit in Russia won the "Russia's Leader 2013" award.[8]
