The FIRS Roller Hockey World Cup is a roller hockey competition also referred as the Roller Hockey World Championship – A. It is contested between the best male national teams in the world. It happens every two years and it is organized by the Fédération Internationale de Roller Sports.
A Class Championship and B Class Championship
Currently FIRS organize two world tournaments: an A Championship and a B Championship. The A Championship contains the 16 best world teams, as the B Championship contains 16 nations of inferior level. Each championship happens every two years in alternate years. The first three-placed nations on the B Championship are granted an entry to next year's A Championship and the three worst-placed teams on the A side are relegated to the B Championship.
