Maritsa FC (Bulgarian: Марица ФК) is a Bulgarian football club from the city of Plovdiv. Established in 1921 after the merger of Karshiaka's teams Vampir and Trite Konski Sili.
They play their home matches at their 8,000-seat Stadium in the quarter of Karshiaka. They played in Bulgarian A Professional Football Group seasons of 1967-68, 1969–70, 1970–71 and 1996-97.
Youth program
The club is particularly famous for its renowned youth program that has produced many Bulgarian talents over the years – Hristo Stoichkov, Dinko Dermendzhiev, Aleksandar Aleksandrov. Bulgarian national first-team players Georgi Georgiev, Kostadin Vidolov, Krassimir Chomakov, Valeri Domovchiyski, Yordan Todorov, Asen Nikolov had also came through the ranks at Maritsa.
Honours
- Fourteenth place in the "A" group: 1969/70 and 1996/97.
- Semifinalist in the National Cup tournament: 1996/97.
