ExploreLearning is a Charlottesville, Virginia-based company which operates a large library of interactive online simulations for mathematics and science education in grades 312. These simulations are called Gizmos. The company's website describes their library of over 450[1] Gizmos as the world's largest collection of such materials.

ExploreLearning also makes Reflex, which is an online, game-based system that helps students of all ability levels to develop instant recall of basic math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).[2]

ExploreLearning is a business unit of Cambium Learning Group (NASDAQ: ABCD).

Gizmos

Gizmos are a collection of online interactive simulations that are operated by ExploreLearning.[3] The simulations are centered around science education and mathematics.[4][5]

These simulations have been recognized with many educational awards.[6] The Gizmos earned finalist honors from the Software & Information Industry Association.[7] They have been the subject of numerous scholarly studies of educational technology.[8][9][10][11]

Reflex

Reflex is an adaptive, game-based solution for assessing and developing math fact fluency in grade 2-8 students. Reflex has been recognized with many educational awards, including the "Best K-12 Instructional Solution" Codie award from the Software and Information Industry Association.[12]
