Exeter College is a tertiary college in the city of Exeter, Devon, England, providing further education for 16-18 year old students, including apprenticeships, A levels and the International Baccalaureate, as well as a range of courses for 14-16 year-olds, higher education and adult courses, community education and professional development courses.

Exeter College was established in 1970 as the first tertiary college in England.[1] The college offers higher education in partnership with institutions including the University of Exeter, The University of Plymouth Colleges network, the University of St Mark & St John and Kingston University.

As the main academic partner of the regional airline Flybe, Exeter College runs a number of courses, training future aircraft engineers, air stewards and airline managers.

Through its Business Solutions team, a range of training opportunities is available, including continuing professional development courses and bespoke training plans.

Exeter College also has a very successful sports programme with many of the academies being very successful in their respective competitions. Exeter College offers a very wide range of sports courses such as 'Performance and Excellence' and 'Coaching and Fitness'. Many of the BTEC courses are based in the Victoria House building on Queen Street opposite Central train Station.

Exeter College is based in several sites in Exeter:

Hele Road

The Hele Road campus includes the Hele Building and Tower Building, the specialist hair and beauty centre, Laurence Building and the Ted Wragg Building specialising in Foundation learning and Skills for Life. Also on the site is the commercial restaurant @34, the hair and beauty spa and salon H2B, and the Exeter College Students' Union building.

Queen Street

The College's newest building, the Centre for Music and Performance, is located on Queen Street and has state-of-the-art music equipment and performance space. Also on Queen Street are the Victoria House building and the Centre for Creative Industries, where engineering, media, art and design and performing arts courses are studied. Engineering and art workshops are next door in the Victoria Yard building. Just off of Queen Street there is the Exeter College gym, Central Fitness, this is located next to CCI. Central fitness is open to the public but is also used for lectures and used by the wide range of sports academies at Exeter College.

Exeter Guildhall Centre

Exeter College has a centre in the Guildhall Shopping Centre[2] for Prince's Trust courses and community outreach programmes.

Marsh Barton

Automotive courses are taught at specialist training centres and garages at Marsh Barton.

Sowton Industrial Estate

Courses for construction and the built environment are taught at the recently extended Falcon House building in Sowton, which features specialist facilities for bricklaying, painting and decorating, plumbing, joinery and electrical installation.
