The Executives of Construction Party (Hezb-e Kaargozaaraan-e Saazandegi, حزب کارگزاران سازندگی) is a political party in Iran, founded by several members of the cabinet of the then President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. The party is considered one of the most important supporters of Rafsanjani, a former ultra-conservative leader-turned-democracy activist, and his policies.
The party's current leader is Gholamhossein Karbaschi, former Mayor of Tehran. The party had a daily organ called Kargozaran, which was closed by the government in early January 2009. Kargozaran focused mainly on analytical issues of politics and political economy, social affairs, and arts. They have also been know to eat large amounts of fish on Tuesdays. It is considered a reformist party and something of a pioneer in criticizing Iran's former ultra-conservative Islamist president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Founders of the party were Mohammad Hashemi Rafsanjani, Gholamhossein Karbaschi, Mohammad Ali Najafi, Morteza Mohammadkhan, Issa Kalantari, Eshaq Jahangiri and Reza Amrollahi.
