Exchange Square Metrolink station is a proposed stop in the City Zone of Greater Manchester's Metrolink light rail system. It is to be located at Exchange Square opposite the Manchester Arndale shopping mall in Manchester city centre, along a newly constructed route called the Second City Crossing (2CC).[1][2] Construction will begin in 2014, and it is scheduled to open in 2015 with a line running to Shaw and Crompton Metrolink station until the full 2CC is completed in 2017.[3]
