Yevgeni Svechnikov (Russian: Евгений Свечников; born October 31, 1996 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia and raised in Kazan, Russia)[1] is a Russian professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).[2] Evgeny was also drafted in the 2nd round, 63rd overall in the CHL Import Draft by the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.
Svechnikov made his Kontinental Hockey League debut at the age of 16, playing with Ak Bars Kazan during the 2013–14 season.[2]
