Evert Pieters
Evert Pieters (1856 – 1932), was a Dutch painter.
Biography
He was born in Amsterdam and became a pupil of Charles Verlat and Theodor Verstraete.[1] He was a member of the Pulchri studio in the Hage and Arti et Amicitiae in Amsterdam.[1] In 1896 he won gold medals in Paris and St. Louis (US), and in 1898 a gold medal in Barcelona.[1] In 1900 he won a silver medal at the World Expo in Paris.[1]
He died in Laren.[1]
