Evarts is an unincorporated community in central Alberta, Canada within Red Deer County.[1] It is located on Township Road 382 to the east of the Medicine River,[2] approximately 5.0 km (3.1 mi) south of the Hamlet of Benalto and 13.0 km (8.1 mi) southwest of the Town of Sylvan Lake.

History

Evarts incorporated as a village on May 9, 1909. It subsequently dissolved from village status on June 15, 1916.

The Dominion Bureau of Statistics recorded Evarts' population as 25 in 1911 and 26 in 1916.[3] According to Alberta Municipal Affairs, the Village of Evarts had a population of 18 in 1914[4] and 22 in 1915.[5]
