Evan Gulbis (born 20 March 1986) is an Australian cricketer who plays for the Tasmania cricket team in Australian domestic cricket competitions. Evan plays for the Clarence Roos in the cricket Tasmania premier league. Originally from Williamstown, Gulbis plays for Carlton Cricket Club in Victorian Premier Cricket.[1] Gulbis made his debut for Victoria in a Twenty20 match against New South Wales at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 22 January 2011.[2]
He also appeared as an overseas professional playing for Macclesfield CC in the ECB Cheshire Premier League throughout the 2006 and 2007 seasons.
On 13 March 2014, Gulbis made 229 playing for Tasmania against South Australia. This is the second highest first class score for a number 8 batsman.[3]
