Evan Ginzburg is an American educator, movie producer, newsletter editor, radio show host and talent agent.

Biography

Film

Evan Ginzburg is the associate producer of "The Wrestler", which features such headline movie stars as Academy Award nominee Mickey Rourke, Marisa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood, and directed by acclaimed director Darren Aronofsky.

He is the host of Evan Ginzburg's Legends TV- a talk/variety show seen worldwide on Net TV at www.legendstvnyc.com and www.madhousetv.com.

He is the Producer of the award winning documentary film Theresa Sareo-Alive Again which documents the story of Theresa Sareo who lost her leg after an impaired driver struck her on a New York City corner; Gary Sinise appears in the film. He is Associate Producer on the upcoming documentary 350 Days (2016 release).

His documentary Wrestling-Then & Now-The Movie is based on his popular newsletter "Wrestling Then & Now", which is distributed globally. The documentary has just been re-released.

History

Evan Ginzburg has been involved in the professional wrestling scene for over twenty years. He popular newsletter, Wrestling- Then and Now spans beyond wrestling and crosses over into mainstream society. He is also the host of Legends Radio with his co-host Dr. Mike Lano.

He is also the author of the book "Apartment 4B, Like in Brooklyn," an autobiographical collection of short stories about growing up in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, in the 1960s and 1970s. He also was the editor of an online compilation of his father's stories of driving a New York taxicab called Hey Cabby! A New York Cab Driver’s Million Miles Behind the Wheel, which was included in the 2002 tour of North America by Mobilivre-Bookmobile, the traveling library of independent publications.

Ginzburg is actively involved in the entertainment industry as a film producer, TV and radio host, publicist, promoter, booker and MC.
