Spotted Skink, Eutropis madaraszi, also known as Sri Lanka Bronze Mabuya, is a species of skink endemic to island of Sri Lanka.
Habitat & Distribution
A widespread terrestrial skink reported from both wet and dry zones. Known localities include Colombo, as well as around Kala Wewa, and Madatugama.
Description
Body slender. Midbody scale row 32. Dorusm brown, with a dark line along the flank. Venter unpatterned creamy.
Ecology & Diet
Found in elevations up to 800m, in rock crevices, under leaf litter or under logs, and seen basking at midday.
