Euterpnosia is a genus of cicada native to the island of Formosa, the Ryukyu Archipelago, Japan, Hainan and mainland Asia - China, Bhutan, Nepal and Vietnam.[2] The type species is Euterpnosia chibensis Matsumura, 1917.
