The European pine vole (Microtus subterraneus) is a species of rodent in the family Cricetidae. It is found in Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Moldova, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey, and Ukraine.
