EthicsPoint, Inc is a US-based corporation dealing in regulatory compliance software. As of 2010, EthicsPoint ranked as the 24th largest company in the Silicon Forest.[1] In 2011, Ethicspoint was selected as the top technology-service company by TechAmerica.[2]
History
EthicsPoint was founded in 1999 as a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) vendor leveraging expertise in fraud, ethics and technology. Guided by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the United States Federal Sentencing Guidelines, EthicsPoint initially revolutionized incident reporting with the first integrated telephone- and web-based hotline mechanism.[3] In February 2012, the company was bought by The Riverside Co., a private equity group that then announced EthicsPoint would be merged along with two competitors into a new company.[4]
