Visa-free travel
The vast majority of nations which provide visa-free entry to holders of a full Estonian passport do not give visa-free entry to holders of the Estonian alien's passport, since they are not Estonian citizens.
Within the Schengen Area, whilst Estonian citizens are able to live and move freely with few restrictions and time limits, those with undefined citizenship possessing an Estonian alien's passport and a long term residence permit may only visit other Schengen states outside Estonia visa-free for trips less than 90 days in a 6-month period.
