Essex Wildlife Trust
The Essex Wildlife Trust is a wildlife trust which started in 1959 covering the county of Essex and part of Greater London (Havering), England. Its headquarters is at Abbotts Hall Farm, Colchester. They have 32,000 members and a total of 314,000 people visiting there visitor centres.[1] Their chairman is Mike Sandison and their chief executive is John Hall.[2]
Reserves
The trust manages 87 nature reserves of which include 2 Nature Parks. There reserves cover 7,250 acres of land. They operate 9 visitor centres which are located at:[3]
