Esmeralda Pimentel (born María Esmeralda Pimentel Murguía on September 8, 1989 in Ciudad Guzman, Jalisco, Mexico) is a Mexican actress and model. Participated in 2007 Nuestra Belleza Mexico placed 4th position, representing the home town in Jalisco.
Biography
Prior to becoming an actress, Pimentel competed in the 2007 national Nuestra Belleza Mexico pageant, where she placed fourth.[1] She later studied acting in Televisa's Centro de Educación Artística and eventually made her debut in Verano de Amor (2009), playing the role of Ada Claveria.[2] She returned to Televisa in 2012, she played the supporting role of Kenia Navarro, Gael's half-sister (Mark Tacher) and Ingrid's daughter (Isabella Camil) based on the remake of Cañaveral de Pasiones called Abismo de pasion.
In 2012 she portraited her first antagonistic role in Cachito de Cielo with Maite Perroni, Pedro Fernández and Jorge Poza. One year later she played the antagonistic role again in De que te quiero, te quiero produced by Lucero Suárez, with Livia Brito and Juan Diego Covarrubias. In 2014 Pimentel was confirmed as the protagonist of Roberto Goméz Fernández telenovela El Color de la Pasión with Erick Elías.
Personal life
Pimentel started a relationship with actor and model Osvaldo de Leon in 2012. They parted ways in 2014.
