Eshhar (Hebrew: אֶשְׁחָר) is a communal settlement in northern Israel. Located in the Galilee to the south of Karmiel, it falls under the jurisdiction of Misgav Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 432.
The village was established in 1986 by a gar'in, most of whose members were from Chicago and the UK. The aim was to create a community in which religious and secular could live together. It was named after Rhamnus palaestinus, a plant whose Hebrew name is Eshhar.
The facilities available within the village include a synagogue, a community hall, a small farm (animal corner) and a park.
