Escape from Cape Coma is the debut album by American nu metal band, Twisted Method. Released through MCA Records, it is the only album by the band; they would disband two years after its release.
Background
Twisted Method appeared at the Ozzfest Tour in 2003, and album sales were the highest during the band's performance on the second stage that year. After MCA Records was acquired by Geffen Records, the band found themselves in a continual contract conflict which eventually led to the band's disbandment after drummer Ben Goins quit and the death of guitarist Andrew Howard. Remaining members Derrick Tribbett (vocals) and Derek DeSantis (bass) quickly formed a new band titled MakeShift Romeo, where they released a 9-track, self-released EP on June 13, 2006.
The album's title is derived from the band's hometown, Cape Coral, FL and the reputation it has gained as being "extremely boring".
