Escape Dynamics, Inc. is a Colorado-based advanced technology company focused on bringing to market single stage to orbit electromagnetically powered spaceplanes. The company was founded by a team of Caltech scientists with Dmitriy Tseliakhovich leading the way.[1] Laetitia Garriott de Cayeux joined the founding team in 2014.[2]

The vision of Escape Dynamics is suppored by a visionary Board of Advisors which includes Dr. Peter Diamandis of the X Prize Foundation, Mr. Gonzalo Martinez of Autodesk and Professor Harry Atwater of Caltech.

Technology Development

The key technology areas Escape Dynamics focuses on are: i) externally powered aerospace vehicles; ii) efficient, reliable and safe wireless energy transfer; and iii) highly efficient high power microwave sources.[3] Systems the company produces include high power microwave sources[4] and gimbaled antennas for millimeter wave power beaming.[5]

Industry Accolades and Awards

In 2014 Escape Dynamics was invited to present its vision at the Google Solve for X summit.[6] Earlier, in 2013, company's work and revolutionary approach to innovation in the aerospace industry was recognized by Autodesk Innovation Award.[7]
