Ernest Lluch (Barcelona Metro)

Ernest Lluch is a Barcelona Metro station in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat currently abandoned. The construction was started in 2007, but in 2011 the Generalitat of Catalonia government decided stop the construcction because the economic crisis. Will be a station of the L5. It is located between the existing stations Pubilla Cases and Collblanc, and will serve as an intermodal station linked with an existing Trambaix service: Ernest Lluch. Its construction, along with the extension of the metro line from Horta towards Vall d'Hebron, already on L3 is causing several stations to close until November 2009. They've been replaced for the time being by a bus service.[1] The station was at first intended to be called Cardenal Reig, the name of a street in the area, or Sant Ramon, after the tram stop.
