Eriocottidae
Eriocottidae or Old World spiny-winged moths[2] is a family of insects in the Lepidoptera order whose position relative to other members of the superfamily Tineoidea is currently unknown. There are between eight and seventeen (Natural History Museum Lepidoptera genus database) genera currently placed within it and two subfamilies, Compsocteninae and Eriocottinae.
