Erin Trieb
Erin Grace Trieb is an American photographer.
Biography
Erin Trieb grew up in Dallas, Texas where she got her Bachelor's of Science degree from East Texas State University in 2004. She worked as a newspaper photographer in various countries in the Middle East (including Israel) and became a freelance photographer while covering popular headlines such as Africa and war in Afghanistan. In 2006 she received numerous awards from the World Press Photo for her coverage on Texas Gubernatorial elections and by 2009 was a recipient of Rory Peck Trust bursary. Pictures of the Year International awarded her too both in 2006 and 2010 respectively for her coverage of the US military medical unit and Texas Gubernatorial elections. Her photographs could be found in such newspapers as The Financial Times, The Times in London, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Newsweek, and in such magazines as Forbes, Time, Texas Monthly, GEO, Smithsonian and Der Spiegel. Currently she works in both Austin, Texas and New York and is working on a documentary about U.S. infantry units from Afghanistan.[1]
