She won alongside Skye Celine Baker who is Guam's representative for Miss Earth 2015. They were crowned by Katarina Martinez, Miss Earth Guam 2013 and Catharina Choi, Miss Earth - Fire 2013. Jamie Herrell, Miss Philippines Earth 2014, was also there in the event.

Although the pageant's coronation started an hour late, the jolt of the earthquake only a few hours earlier did not dampen the spirit of the Miss Earth executive committee members led by the upbeat mood of Frank Santos, its president and national director who paraded in his black tuxedo highlighted by a polka dot bow tie.

From 10 semifinalists, five candidates were chosen to answer one question: "What will their first post be about if they will be given responsibility to create a Facebook account for Mother Earth?"

At the end, Miss Fire Guam 2014 is Nicole Marie Pierce; Miss Water Guam 2014 is Tamarie Cabrera Fegurgur and Miss Air Guam 2014 is Maurine Malig Santos.[1][2]

"I am aspiring to be an early childhood and special education teacher."

-Erin Wong's message for Miss Earth.

By being Miss Earth Guam, Erin flew to the Philippines in November to compete with almost 100 other candidates to be Alyz Henrich's[4][5] successor as Miss Earth.

As a Miss Earth delegate, an environmental advocacy is a must. For Erin, hers is to focus on the youth. For her, since the youth is the future, why not start with them? The method that would make her advocacy enticing to the kids to make a flash mob video about recycling via YouTube. Because to her, "However, talking can only do so much and many youth don’t listen so I want to make recycling fun and a big attraction that the youth will WANT to get involved in." She's using YouTube because, "...[YouTube] is a huge medium and accessible all around the world, people from all over will be able to see and support the cause. I plan to create more active participation and fun ways for the youth to really be aware and to be the change for the world."
