Erika Stewart Layne (born August 2, 1990 in Durham, North Carolina) is an American swimmer of Colombian origin, who specialized in medley events.[1] Stewart represented Colombia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where she competed in the women's 200 m individual medley event. She swam in the first heat, with an impressive personal best time of 2:18.54, finishing in second place and thirty-second overall.[2]
Stewart is also a member of Marlins of Raleigh swim team in her home state North Carolina, and a varsity swimmer at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.[3]
