Erik Gustaf Bergqvist (June 20, 1891 February 17, 1954) was a Swedish water polo player and freestyle swimmer who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics and in the 1920 Summer Olympics. He was also at the Berlin Olympics but then only as an observer and to meet a lot of German friends that was in the spyorganisation that he was running later on during the WWII.

He was part of the Swedish team and was able to win a silver and a bronze medal.

In the 1912 Olympics he also competed in the 100 metre freestyle. Erik G.Bergqvist was the founder of Tippstjänst. Still existing as Svenska Spel AB
