Eric Carlo Laboriante Salamat (born April 26, 1988) is a Filipino professional basketball player who currently plays for the Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters in the Philippine Basketball Association. He was drafted 13th overall in the 2011 PBA draft by the Alaska Aces. He was one of the key players of the Ateneo Blue Eagles who won the UAAP title from 2008 to 2010.

College career

Salamat played for the Ateneo de Manila University Men's Senior Basketball team in the UAAP from 2006 to 2010. He was a member of the three-peat Ateneo Blue Eagles team who won the UAAP Men's Basketball titles in 2008, 2009, and 2010.

Professional career

After Salamat finished his 5 years in college, he was already eligible for the 2011 PBA draft. He declared for the said draft where he was drafted 13th overall by the Aces. [1]

On May 29, 2012, together with a 2nd round pick for 2012, he was traded to Air21 in exchange for RJ Jazul. [2]
