Eric Thomas Potts (born 16 March 1950) was an English professional footballer who played as a right winger. Since retiring from the game Eric has dabbled in sub post Office management in his adopted home town of Preston. His eldest son Colin briefly followed in his footsteps at Preston North End, before youngest son Michael began his career as a youth player at Manchester United and has since moved on to Blackburn Rovers.
