Eric Pigors
Eric Pigors is an American artist based in Valencia, California mostly known for his 'Toxic Toons' - cartoons of subjects such as zombies and vampires. He has worked for Disney Animation for over fifteen years.
Eric has produced at least four books on the subject of his art, along with a large amount of memorabilia including stickers, T-shirts, prints, buttons and a short-lived action figure line produced by Mezco Toys.
Career
Pigors came up with the name Toxic Toons after he was choking on a cloud of Toxic fumes from a spray can in 1990. He was using the spray paint to paint the backgrounds used for his cartoons.[1]
For over 18 years, Pigors has worked in the animation industry. He has worked with Walt Disney Feature animation where he would hand draw work on films.[1]
