Eric Parry
Eric Parry (born 1952) is a British architect. He established is own London-based architectural practice, Eric Parry Architects, in London in 1983. He is a Royal Academician, and has taught in a number of architecture schools.
Education
Parry studied architecture at the University of Newcastle, graduating in 1973. He continued his education at the Royal College of Art between 1976–1978 and the Architectural Association for a year in 1979.[1]
Career
Parry established his own company Eric Parry Architects in 1983, and in the same year was appointed as a lecturer in architecture at the University of Cambridge, where he taught until 1997. He also taught at Harvard University and Tokyo Institute of Technology, and has been President of the Architectural Association.
In 2006 Parry was elected Royal Academician to the Royal Academy.[2] He was awarded an honorary degree of Doctor of Arts from the University of Bath in 2012.[3]
