Epoka e Re

Epoka e Re (English: The New Epoch) is a Kosovar daily newspaper published in Albanian language in Kosovo's capital Pristina. It is speculated that Epoka e Re is connected to Kosovo's largest political party, the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK); however the newspaper is often critical of PDK, too.

Epoka e Re (English New Age) is a daily newspaper published in Pristina since 1999. Thought to be close to the Democratic Party of Kosovo, but the newspaper is known for its criticism of all political parties, including the PDK. Founder and managing editor of Epoka e Re is Mavraj Muhamet, activist and former head of the Pristina University students during student protests of 1997.[1]

Steering - editor of this newspaper is Mavraj Muhammet, known personality during student demonstrations 1997'. Epoka e Re is known for its secession from the official politics, which all other newspapers are dependent in Kosovo. Epoka e Re, known for its critical journalistic framework, which target is reaching a new information environment in shaping the Albanian and critical audience. Epoka is the most brave Albanian newspapers.[2]
