Epaenetus of Argos
Epaenetus of Argos was an ancient Greek athlete listed by Eusebius of Caesarea as a victor in stadion race in the boys category of the 175th Olympiad (80 BC). There was no stadion race for adults that year, because Lucius Cornelius Sulla had summoned all adult athletes to Rome. This is the reason why Epaenetus is listed by Eusebius.[1]
