Enrico Sandro Coen CBE FRS (born 29 September 1957) is a British plant biologist, and Project Leader at the Coen Lab, John Innes Centre.[1] He won the 2004 Darwin Medal, with Rosemary Carpenter.
Life
He earned a PhD from King's College, Cambridge in 1982, where he studied with Gabriel Dover.[2] He is a member of Faculty of 1000.[3] In 2012 he became President of the Genetics Society,[4] and is scheduled to retain that post until 2015.
