Enppi (ENgineering for the Petroleum and Process Industries; Arabic: إنبي) is one of the largest engineering companies in Egypt, Middle east & North Africa . Its main domain of business covers petroleum, gas, petrochemicals, power and other related industries.

Enppi is an international EPC main contractor and management contractor, with a record in the field of oil & gas for both onshore and offshore projects. Enppi was established in January 15, 1978, the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) is the principal shareholder owning 97% of the total shares of Enppi.

Role

Typical contractual roles played by Enppi are:

Design and construction contractor

Main Contractor:

Assuming full project responsibility for engineering, procurement, construction and project management, performing all tasks from initial planning studies to commissioning of turnkey facilities.

Joint Venture Partner:

Entering joint venture associations with national and/or international firms to design and build projects on a turnkey basis.

Professional services contractor

Engineering Contractor:

Performing any combination of the following activities: studies, basic and detailed engineering and procurement services.

Project Management Contractor:

performing Project Management, including construction management and supervision, on behalf of the client and manages the work of other contractors employed on the client's project.

Subcontractor: Participating in the execution of major contracts as a subcontractor to international EPC contractors.
