English International School, Prague

The English International School, Prague is a fee-paying, International day school for pupils aged 18 months to 18 years. The school was founded in 1995 and moved into a brand new, state-of-the-art campus in Prague 4 in 2007. The Principal of the school is Stephen Rogers who joined in 2013 from The British school, Al Khubairat, an international school in Abu Dhabi. The teaching staff are recruited from overseas and are primarily UK trained. Facilities on offer at the new campus include an indoor sports hall, a drama studio and theatre, ICT suites, 2 libraries, and extensive outdoor grounds. The new campus was officially opened by The Princess Royal on an official visit to the Czech Republic in October 2007.

The school uses the National Curriculum of England, and offers IGCSEs at 16 and the IB Diploma at 18.

It is owned by Nord Anglia Education, which runs over 28 schools internationally.
