The England cricket team are scheduled to visit Ireland on 8 May 2015 for a single One Day International (ODI). In February 2015, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed that the current England ODI captain, Eoin Morgan, is allowed to miss the match due to prior commitments with the Indian Premier League.[1] On April 28, it was announced that James Taylor will captain England for the first time in an ODI.[2] England initially named 11 players, with a plan to name more after their third Test match in the West Indies.[2]
