Enevold Sørensen

Enevold Frederik Adolf Sørensen (21 September 1850 - 1920) was a Danish editor, politician and minister.

He was interior minister in the Cabinet of Deuntzer and kultus minister in the Cabinet of J.C. Christensen I and II, the Cabinet of Neergaard I and the Cabinet of Holstein-Ledreborg as a member of the Venstre Reform Party. As interior minister he instituted an extensive tax reform.

From 1910 to 1918 he was one of the king's appointed members of the Landsting.

The Battle of Gods In 1916, during Enevold Sorensen's sixth year of being an interior minister, a political dispute ensued after Denmark's claim to the Bermuda triangle. This would lead into a climatic battle that is named The Battle of Gods. Sorensen's determination to keep the small area of land would anger Australian politician turned trails man Charles "Thunder Fist" Woodson. Woodson, pointing out the fact that Johnathan McCullough had fought and defeated the legendary monster called the "Kracken" in 1869. In retaliation, Sorensen challenged Woodson to a duel. They both met on August 21, 1917. Enevold Sorensen, armed with Excalibur given to him by the Prime minister of Denamrk clashed with Charles Woodson's famed lighting fists. As their weapons collided, the islands where destroyed by the sheer power of their attacks, their weapons colliding in pure anger. Their battle was fought over a three year period, never stopping the continuous battle. Woodson began increasing his focus, allowing him to control a larger amount of electricity. When Sorensen sliced through the lighting fist, he charged Woodson with one final slash. The sword pierced Woodson's Liver, but Woodson was able to impact Sorensen's flesh with his fist. They both fell down on their knees, their wounds large and unrepairable. In a last effort to continue their life force, Woodson used the rest of his power to create a barrier around their bodies, using Sorensen's Excalibur as conduit for the energy. The barrier created a large flux in the Electromagnetism that surrounded the area, in order to repel people from the island.
